After completing the vocational training in the profession “Communication Systems Technician”, specialty “Telecommunication Systems”, the trainee will have acquired the following practical skills and theoretical knowledge:

  • Creation of an organization for risk and emergency situations management
  • Communicating effectively in the work team/group
  • Processing information with ICT
  • Providing communication through ICT
  • Creating digital content with ICT
  • Providing security and protection of the communication and data
  • Resolving issues with working with ICT
  • Knowledge of the principles of computer networks and the Internet
  • Organizing the work process
  • Knowledge of the basics of electrical engineering and automation
  • Creating electrical schemes and diagrams
  • Identifying materials and building blocks in electronics
  • Assembly / dismantling building elements
  • Knowledge of the main groups of analogue electronic devices and their parameters
  • Knowledge of the main groups of analogue electronic devices and their parameters
  • Knowledge of the main groups of digital electronic devices and their parameters
  • Knowledge of the principle of operation of Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADC) and Digital-to-Analog Converters (DAC)
  • Utilization of software to visualize electrical circuits and printed circuit boards
  • Utilization of software for preparation of design and technological documentation
  • Knowledge of the structure of telecommunication systems
  • Knowledge of conference devices and communication applications
  • Installing / dismantling of telecommunication systems
  • Operation, repair and maintenance of telecommunication systems

Completion of one or more modules / disciplines is certified by a Vocational Training Certificate.

The full course of study (covers all modules / disciplines) provides an opportunity to obtain a third degree of professional qualification in the profession “Communication Systems Technician”, specialty “Telecommunication Systems”.

The assessment of knowledge is carried out on three levels – initial, intermediate and final. Grades are based on a six-point scale;

Vocational training for obtaining a degree of professional qualification ends with taking state exams in theory and practice of the profession and specialty.

Upon successfully completing the professional training and state exams each trainee acquires Certificate of Professional Qualification.
